Sometimes the quickest results come from starting over.

Daily stressors, disrupted sleep, antibiotic use, and a lack of nutritious food and exercise are all modern-day lifestyle realities that can upset the natural balance of bacteria in your gut. Besides weighing you down with bloat and lethargy, an unhealthy gut also impacts critical physiological processes in your body that control your mood, immune-response, skin health, weight, and sleep.

Luckily, the gut is one of our most resilient organs, and once it starts getting the beneficial bacteria it needs, it’s able to bounce back to an optimal state of balance. When your gut microbiome is balanced and healthy, you’ll know, because you will begin to see improvements not only to your digestion, but to your overall sense of vitality and well being. We mean it when we say it: take care of your gut, and your gut will take care of you!

As Seen In

Our superior multilayer tablet technology protects and releases each ingredient at just the right time.

At the Gut Co., we know health is about more than what you eat—but also how well it’s absorbed. With a focus on optimal absorption, we designed a tablet that utilizes the most modern tablet and time release technology to deliver each carefully-selected ingredient featured in our Gut Care formula.

Multi-layered Tablets

Designed by experts to include as many beneficial ingredients as possible, each layer of our multi-layer tablet provides a buffet of gut-boosting nutrients, live bacteria strains, and yeast. The dual-layer technology permits our live probiotics and yeast to be separated from the other active ingredients in order to support peak digestion.

Time-released Delivery

Our unique tablet technology also enables ingredients to be absorbed at different rates. By utilizing a time-released delivery system, our formula reduces contraindication within the digestive tract, allowing each ingredient to be processed and absorbed by the body at the most effective time.

If the following symptoms sound familiar, that’s a strong indication that your gut needs some extra TLC.

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, pain or excessive gas → 1

The above symptoms are all telltale signs of poor gut function. If the bacteria in your gut is out of balance, your gut may display these symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort to signal that something is not right.

Chronically recurring illness can lead to autoimmune diseases, thyroid issues, and rheumatoid arthritis from constant inflammation. These infections are usually signs that your immune system is compromised. Because the health of your gut microbiome directly affects immune function, increasing the presence of beneficial gut bacteria can help boost immunity.

It is now a well-studied fact that processed foods or those high in refined sugar feed and grow the bad bacteria in your gut. When these bad bacteria increase in number, they send signals to your brain asking to be fed in the same way. This starts a vicious cycle by which your brain craves the very foods that stimulate the growth of harmful bacteria and cause gut troubles.

Serotonin is your “happy hormone,” influencing mood, sleep and appetite. Its secretion requires the nutrient tryptophan, which is supplied to your body by the food you eat and processed in your gut. When your gut microbiome is out of balance, tryptophan cannot be properly absorbed, meaning that the biochemical signaling along the gut-brain axis is disrupted, thereby impacting the production of serotonin. When your body lacks adequate serotonin, you are left feeling moody, anxious or depressed. When your body experiences stress, it causes a spike in the hormone cortisol. Increasing the number of beneficial gut bacteria has been shown to reduce cortisol levels and support emotional regulation and stress management.

As discussed above, when your gut isn’t functioning properly, your body fails to produce an adequate amount of serotonin. A lack of serotonin can cause significant disturbances in your sleep cycle, and contribute to issues like insomnia, fatigue, and lethargy.

The chemical signaling that occurs along the gut-skin axis is how modern science has been able to explain why skin conditions like acne, psoriasis and eczema can be exacerbated by a damaged or inflamed gut. Imbalances in the gut caused by a poor diet or food allergies may cause the gut to leak out certain proteins responsible for regulating your skin’s health.

Long-term solutions require short-term investments.

Creating healthy patterns doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, on average, humans need to practice new habits for 66 days to make them stick, meaning that it takes the body two to three months to develop the muscle memory to sustain new routines, including new health routines.

Improving and optimising your gut health is not a quick fix, but with the proper attention to rebuilding the beneficial bacteria your gut needs, it can be a lifelong fix. In many cases, it took your gut a long time to fall out of balance, so it may take a few months to bring it back.

Following our Gut Reset Plan for at least 90 days means that for three months, your gut will receive the regular delivery of good bacteria aimed at reconstituting a healthy and diverse microbiotic colony. By committing to this timeframe, you are giving your body time to reset, rebalance, and restore, so that you can put your gut troubles behind you for good.

So, how do you keep you and your gut happy and healthy?

Your gut microbiome is like a bacterial fingerprint—it’s uniquely affected by your specific diet and lifestyle choices. It also thrives on a diverse range of bacteria, which helps it fight off pathogens.

One of the best ways to take care of your gut microbiome is to take care of yourself. Eating a healthy diet, getting adequate sleep and exercise, and reducing your exposure to stress are all ways to help protect your gut health, but in today’s world, those efforts are often insufficient.

For some of us, years of unhealthy habits and the persistent stresses of modern-day life have disrupted the delicate balance of bacteria in the microbiome, leaving us feeling lethargic, bloated, and fatigued. In these cases, a reset is necessary, and live multi-strain biotic supplements are the most effective way to help you restore the integrity of your microbiome and the health of your gut.

The Power of Pre + Probiotics

A diverse gut is a happy gut, and at The Gut Co., all of our formulas include prebiotics and probiotics carefully-selected to populate and feed beneficial bacteria in your gut.

Prebiotics are compounds that activate the growth of beneficial bacteria. Probiotics deliver live cultures of healthy gut bacteria to give your microbiome the balance it needs to thrive.

Our time-released tablet technology increases the bioavailability of each ingredient, so that with each dose of a Gut Co. formula, you’re receiving gut-boosting ingredients when your body can best absorb them.
